1. Not medical advice

MedVault is a personal organization and tracking tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Information in the app — including reminders, supply estimates, and the drug‑interaction checker — is for informational and organizational purposes only and may be incomplete or inaccurate.

Always follow the instructions of your doctor and pharmacist. Never start, stop, or change a medication based on the app. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services. You are solely responsible for taking your medications correctly; MedVault is not liable for missed, late, or incorrect doses.

2. The interaction checker

The drug‑interaction feature uses a limited, built‑in reference list of common interactions. It is not exhaustive and the absence of a warning does not mean a combination is safe. Always confirm with your pharmacist or doctor.

3. License

We grant you a personal, non‑transferable, revocable license to use MedVault on Apple devices you own or control, in accordance with the Apple Standard EULA and these Terms. You may not reverse‑engineer, resell, or redistribute the app except as permitted by law.

4. Subscriptions & payments

• Some features require MedVault Premium, an auto‑renewing subscription billed through your Apple ID.
• The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Manage or cancel anytime in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.
• Any free‑trial period is forfeited if you purchase a subscription during the trial, where applicable.
• Prices are shown in the app and may vary by region and over time.

5. Your data

You own your data. MedVault stores it on your device (and, if you enable it, in your private iCloud). Optional features you switch on — caregiver sharing, the Ask MedVault assistant and encrypted cloud backup — send a defined subset to our server; the Privacy Policy lists exactly what each one sends and how to delete it. You are responsible for keeping your own backups; we are not liable for data loss.
