Privacy Policy — vSMS

This Privacy Policy explains what data vSMS ("we", "us") collects when you use the iOS app, how we use it, and the choices you have. Contact: [email protected].

What we collect

• Account data: your e-mail address and the identifier from Sign in with Apple (or e-mail sign-in), and a display name if you give one.
• Wallet and purchases: your credit balance and transaction history, and the App Store transaction and product identifiers of your purchases and subscriptions.
• Temporary number orders: the service and country you chose, the number assigned, any verification code received, and the time and outcome.
• Temporary e-mail orders: the site and domain you chose, the address assigned, any verification code received, and the time and outcome.
• Second numbers: the number assigned to you; call records (the other party's number, direction, time, duration and outcome); and text messages sent and received on your number, including their content and the other party's number. We do not record the audio of calls.
• Device data: push notification tokens (including the token used to ring you for incoming calls), and the IP address of requests, used for security and abuse prevention.
• App usage: in-app events such as screens viewed, buttons tapped and in-app searches, used to understand and improve the app. They are not used for advertising.
• Install attribution: if you installed the app from an Apple Search Ads advert, Apple tells us which campaign it was.

We do not collect your contacts, location, photos or advertising identifier, and we do not ask for your real phone number.

How we use it

• To provide the Service: assign numbers and mailboxes, deliver codes, connect calls and messages, and refund credits when a delivery fails.
• To process purchases and subscriptions through Apple.
• To send notifications about your orders, messages and calls.
• To detect, investigate and prevent fraud, harassment, spam and other misuse (see our Terms of Use).
• To comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.

We do not sell or rent your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising or cross-app tracking.
